Isn’t that amazing and then sad at the same time? I always feel grossed out but sad when I see that. ;). ;(

Yep….wait until the snails come out, they crunch under your feet….and then you feel guilty, and your Karma gets messed up…It’s a bad scene

Wow. Sad, creative, abrupt. This is really good.

It is a hard road to toe.

  5. Aw, I hate it when the worms drown 😦

The more worms on the road the less survive.
    The road is a less-tuary?

    Indeed it has.

  8. Cute poem. You surely do paint a concise and perfect word picture. But do you really mourn for them? I’m remembering the draining of our small backyard pond last spring and finding a virtual worm CEMETERY. Up until last year my husband took care of the dirty task and I had no idea what it entailed. There were literally hundreds of worms completely covering the bottom of the pond. (Not that I counted them.) Right now I am procrastinating on draining that pond this spring. I anticipate a repeat of my grossed-out feelings of last year. I suppose I should be mourning for them, however the sorrow I will be expressing will be for myself. 😦 Gayle Moore-Morrans
