Fabulous! I have been hatching a plan to go in 2014 as well – the goal is to take two or three months to brush up on Finnish in a few language classes at U of Helsinki. I am thinking of a few projects that are niggling in the back of my mind that can’t go forward until I have a better command of the spoken and written word. Here’s to both of us getting there in 2014!

I’m baffled as to why schools in every country aren’t adopting the Finnish way. They say the proof of the pudding is in the eating. I’d love the UK to adopt it. and provide our young with some real opportunities.
It is pretty impressive. Our government is working at applying the same methods here. The innovations are looking very interesting.
