Today, day 12 of NaNoWriMo par is 20,000 words.
This morning I had under 16,000, but if I don’t get caught up now, I’ll only get further behind. So today’s blog post is compliments of the inspiration of The Little Engine that Could:

YEEEE HA! Just in time for me to make it to the meeting of the Shuswap Association of Writers where I get to announce that Diana Gabaldon had agreed to attend the 2014 Word on the Lake Festival of Readers and Writers! 🙂

I have every faith in you Shawn.x Hugs
Fear not, Shawn! You are not alone! After my Day 10 debacle, I planned on writing on lunch today and again tonight hoping to get in at least 2000-3000 words as I am now playing a major game of catch up. “Lunch” was about ten minutes and then nothing but endless interuptions. I got another 600 words… Looks like tonight I need to type like the wind. 🙂
At this point, it’s so easy to get behind. One sees how important it is to stay on target, because a couple days below add up to so much more work! Let us “Write On!”
