Home from the boarding kennel
Dogs drape themselves
on the carpets,
snoozing noisily.
Canine vacation was exhausting, too.

That’s one of the reasons for a vacation.
It makes one appreciate the comfort of home.
True. ๐ Though our bed was so comfy in the last hotel, I couldn’t figure out why hubby was waking me up to ask if I wanted to go out for breakfast with him when ‘we’d just gotten back from vacation.’ Surprise! We were STILL on vacation! lol
Poor doggies ๐ It must be nice having the comforts and smells of home again.
They brought the smell of the kennel with them! lol Their bedding is in the wash
It’s like taking one of my cats to the vets. We come home and the other two hiss at their sibling for a while ’cause he/she smells like the “bad place.” ๐ They all hissed at me my first day home from the hospital! Animals are a hoot. LOL
That’s funny! The boys quite like it at the boarding kennel. OJ in particular gets all excited when I gather their bedding and food bin and take them out to the car, but all the fun of playing with other dogs wears them out completely. (She finds good matches and lets the dogs socialize; they’re not locked up in little kennels all the time). Sometimes they sleep for 2 or 3 days straight when they get home.
The doggie equivalent to going to the beach on Spring Break! lol Less booze, obviously ๐
or the canine equivalent? Something has caused gastric distress! lol
Oh dear…lol
hahaha – fun!

Because I just love this.
Love it and I can relate, too, with our lab. He comes home and is pooped! But that’s a good thing. ๐
Yes. Happy exhuastion, just like kids. ๐
