Diana Gabaldon just posted the Chapter 82 to 94 titles for her next book in the Outlander series, entitled Written in My Own Heart’s Blood (aka MOH-B, aka MOBY) Those chapter titles were mixed to create this ‘found poem.’ Words in bold are Diana’s titles. Regular print and punctuation are mine. The fun with found poetry, is that one often senses something profound hovering just below understanding. Can you find a message here?

I love her series and cannot wait for the last book to arrive!
I can’t wait for MOBY, but sooner (in 154 days!) will be Diana’s visit here for our Word on the Lake Writers’ Festival. I am looking forward to hearing about all her adventures in Scotland, filming her cameo for the STARZ series with Sam and Catriona! 🙂
(You do know that Written in My Own Heart’s Blood is the ‘next’ book, not the ‘last’ book, right?)
I thought that book 8 was the last book? If not that is great because I hated thinking the story was ending. LOL I love her series and the brogue she uses. I also was tickled pink when the story moved to the mountains of North Carolina which is where I grew up! I knew so much about the area so it was awesome having her include it in her story. 🙂
It is fun when you know where a story is set, at least when the author gets it right! Diana said that she’d thought MOBY would be the end, but she wasn’t even half way through before she knew there would be a 9th. 🙂 This means, unfortunately, we have to wait another three or four years to know about that ghost outside the window in Inverness.
🙂 LOL I hate the long waits! But I love the story!!!
I only discovered her in 2011, so I have only had to wait for MOBY. I can’t imagine having gone through this 6 times!
Oh I discovered her when there was only 2 books written…lol so I have waited a long time lots of times! 🙂
I can only imagine your pain. 😉
What fun! My favorite line: “In Which Rosy-Fingered Dawn Shows Up Mob-Handed.” What a great chapter title!
Diana comes up with some brilliant chapter titles. 🙂
